AZIDERM AZELAIC ACID 10% CREAM | 15g/0.53oz

Properties:

Aziderm ® cream has a strong antimicrobial activity and provides a good result in rosacea, and mild to moderate acne, smoothes dark age spots, freckles or other signs of hyperpigmentation of the skin and can help reduce hair loss in androgenic alopecia.

Indications:

• actively reduces the spread of Propionibacterium acnes;
• has a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect and reduces oiliness;
• has an antibacterial, keratolytic and regenerating effect;
• acts as an antioxidant;
• reduces melanin, is therefore used to effect skin lightening;
• prevents hair loss and activates their growth in androgenetic alopecia.

The composition and release form:

cream for external use 15g/0.53oz

Active ingredient:

• azelaic acid IP – 10.0 % w/w;
• benzoic acid IP – 0.20 % w/w (as preservative) in a cream base q.s.

Contraindications:

• hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to the active substances or any of the ingredients of the preparation;
• skin lesions (wounds, burns, etc.);
• photosensitivity;
• pregnancy and lactation;
• children under 12 years.

Carefully:

acute inflammation (including eczema) lesions of the skin (dermatitis, seborrhea, and others.).

Side effects of the preparation

Frequently: slight tingling or burning sensation, irritation, numbness, redness, itching.

Allergic reactions are extremely rare, but possible.

How to use:

• wash away oiliness and dirt from the skin by applying a cleanser;
• applied 1 or 2 daily to clean, dry skin, avoiding the eyes and lips;
• if feeling of tightness or dryness of the skin, apply a little moisturizer;

• avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes of the mouth;
