Properties and indications:

Cetrilac® 5% cetrimide solution has powerful antifungal, antiseptic and anti-viral properties and is used as a means for:

• the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis;
• treating dandruff (cleans the scalp and removes the flakes, through antibacterial activity kills germs, bacteria and viruses);
• to clean wounds;
• cleaning the skin with burns;
• cleaning rashes;
• sterilization of surgical instruments;
• FDA – approved product.

The composition and release form:

solution for external use 100ml/3.38 fl oz

Active ingredients:

• cetrimide IP – 5.0 % w/v;
• isopropyl alcohol IP – 10.0 % v/v;
• purified water IP to make – 100.0 % v/v;
• perfume – q.s.

Colour: Tartrazin

Contraindications:

• hypersensitivity to any of the components of the solution;
• pregnancy and lactation;
• children under 1 year;
• asthma;
• urticaria.

Dosage and how to use:

Apply after consultation with the attending physician.

For external use only.

Use as an antiseptic:

Dilute it to 0.5% to 1.0% (add 10 to 5 parts of water)

For dandruff:

• dilute it to a strength of approximately 3% (1:1). Apply on wet hair and rinse with water;
• avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth. In case of contact rinse thoroughly with warm water;
• wash your hands after the procedure;
• cetrimide can also be used in combination with chlorhexidine and benzalkonium chloride;
• with long-term repeated use may cause irritation at the site of application cetrimide;
• if when applied the solution within 7-10 days, not seen overt positive effect, you need to discontinue use and consult a doctor.

Specific guidance

When applying Cetrilac 5% cetrimide solution simultaneously with other agents (shampoos, conditioners, etc.), are possible undesirable phenomena as a decrease in therapeutic effect.

Avoid contact with eyes, brain membrane, middle ear, not to introduce into the body cavity, not to apply in the form of enemas.

Do not use for machining of soft contact lenses.
