ANAFLAM GEL FOR PAIN RELIEF | 20g/0.71oz

Properties and indications:

Anaflam gel is used to relieve pain associated with injuries to muscles or joints or sprains, strains and sports injuries. It also relieves pain from rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, etc.:

• diclofenac, used to treat acute pain in muscles and belongs to the class of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It works by reducing the pain, edema and inflammation by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis;
• flax seed oil helps to soothe sore muscles;
• methyl salicylate reduces inflammation;
• menthol soothes and reduces the sensation of pain;
• effectiveness is proven in clinical trials

The composition and release form:

gel for external use 20g/0.71oz

Composition:

• Diclofenac Diethylamine B.P – 1.16 % w/w (equiv to Diclofenac Sodium 1.0% w/w);
• Methyl Salicylate I.P – 10.00% w/w;
• Linseed oil I.P – 3.00 % w/w;;
• Menthol I.P – 5.00% w/w;
• Preservative Benzyl Alcohol I.P - 1.00% w/w (as preservative);
• In Gel Base q.s.

Contraindications:

• hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to the active substances or any of the ingredients of the preparation;
• skin lesions (wounds, burns, etc.);
• heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes;
• a history of heart attack or stroke;
• a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding;
• asthma;
• liver or kidney disease;
• pregnancy and lactation;
• children under 18 years.

Side effects:

• headache;
• abdominal pain;
• constipation.

Properties and indications:

• apply the gel to the affected skin and gently massage;
• give time the gel to dry for at least 10 minutes before you wear clothes or gloves over the treated area.
• wash your hands immediately after using the gel;
• do not wrap the treated area in a bandage and do not use heat source to the treatment area.
