Properties and indications:
Tazret Forte ® cream – is tazarotene in the concentration 0.1% third generation retinoid acetylenic class (derived hydrocarbon – acetylene):

is used topically in the treatment of various dermatological manifestations, such as psoriasis, acne, scars, ichthyosis and photoaging (sun damaged skin);

inhibits compound of pathogenic cells, that form acne;
-
decreases inflammation and reduces oiliness;
-
acts as an peeling, by slowing down the aging process of skin cells and exfoliate the inflamed areas of skin;
-
smoothes facial wrinkles, improves the appearance and texture of the skin
The composition and release form:
cream for external use 20g/0.71oz
Active ingredient:
tazarotene – 0.1 % w / w.
Excipients:
benzyl alcohol IP – 1.0 % w / w in cream base q.s.
Contraindications:
-
children under 12 years.

pregnancy;

lactation;
-
rosacea;
-
skin lesions (wounds, burns, etc.);

photosensitivity;
-
hypersensitivity to any of the components of the gel (discontinue use and consult a doctor if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat).
Side effects of the preparation
Light: dryness, itching, redness, erythema, rash and burning sensation at the site of application.
Heavy: contact dermatitis, dermatitis, eczema, deterioration of psoriasis and inflammation of peripheral edema at the site of application.
Contact the nearest emergency department if you have noticed an allergic reaction.
How to use:
This product is intended for use only in accordance with the prescriptions and instructions.
For external use only, and after consultation with healthcare specialist:
In acne:

carefully wash your face with gentle cleanser. Avoid any alcohol-based products or those which are dried the skin. Then, gently wipe it dry the face;

many dermatologists recommend moisturize the skin before using it. Carefully apply a moisturizer before proceeding to the next step;

In psoriasis:

apply 1 time in the evening, before going to bed, a thin layer of tazarotene (2mg / cm²) to the affected areas, but not more than 20% of the total area of the body and gently massage until it is absorbed completely. Avoid the area around the eyes, eyelids, or mouth;

Precautionary measures:

do not adjust the dose without approval from your doctor;

it is recommended to consult a doctor before using tazarotene;

does not apply to the mucous mouth, nose, eyes and eyelids;

Tazret can cause local skin irritation, such as itching, burning, redness, peeling and dryness. In these cases, the frequency of applications shall be reduced or stopped completely until the skin irritation problems have been eliminated;
