Properties:

• Melalong AD contains 2% mequinol, a hydroquinone derivative that actively treats pigmentation;
• also contains tretinoin 0.025%, a derivative form of vitamin A, which regenerates the skin and has whitening properties;
• used to treat lithigo, age spots, sun spots, freckles and after acne pigmentation;
• increases the mitotic activity of follicular epithelial cells and inhibits the formation of acne and dark spots

Composition:

• mequinol - 2% w / w;
• tretinoin - 0.025% w / w;
• methylparaben IP - 0.18%;
• propylparaben IP - 0.02% cream based q.s.

Contraindications:

• hypersensitivity to any of the components of the cream;
• children under 12 years of age;
• pregnancy and breastfeeding;
• acute inflammatory (including eczematous) skin lesions (dermatitis, seborrhea, etc.);
• rosacea;
• skin lesions, wounds, burns;
• photosensitivity;
• rectal diseases;
• asthma, allergy to sulfites or any of the components of the cream.

Side effects

Rarely: erythema, scaling, dryness, hives, burning or itching, redness of the skin.

How to use:

• apply a small amount once a day in the evening and rub in gently with massaging movements until completely absorbed;
• if dryness is felt afterwards, use a moisturizer;
• use SPF 15 or more sunscreen during the day.
